I have been dealing with a small injury that prevents me from using my upper body as much as I would like to. Regardless of how much it has changed my work out routine, I am trying to not let it affect my activity level. I may not be able to jump around right now and do cardio like I usually do, but my legs still work just fine! So this one is for all you runners out there!
Whether it is running a 5K, marathon, or even just running after a toddler (my everyday), it can take a toll on your body! So caring for it before and after can make a big difference. I have added some poses below that will help you prepare and recover from running. These poses are great for stretching and strengthening the legs, hips, groin, and ankles. They also help calm and steady the mind to prepare for any long distance run you may be getting ready to encounter.
