![]() Prasarita Padottanasana, or Wide-Leg Forward Fold is a great pose to do with or without your little one. If you are doing it with your little one, place them on the mat in front of you in between your legs. Remember to always kiss and cuddle them, make eye contact and speak to them. While in the pose you can turn your toes in, forward, or out to focus on different muscles in the legs. If you cannot reach the floor, try widening your legs. For this variation in the Wide-Leg Fold, walk your hands out in front of you as far as you can reach them. Keep your chest reaching towards the floor and your sit-bones reaching back. This twist is simple but challenging. Keep your hips squared to the floor and only twist using your upper body. Place your right hand below your chest, reaching to the left and keep your left hand extended out in front of you. Then repeat on the other side. This is a great one for pregnancy too!
