My little toddler and I took this picture when she was 18 months old. She has always loved playing on my back, so this one is such a great pose for us to do together.
To get into the butterfly pose, sit with your knees out to the side and the soles of your feet together. Flex your feet and spread your toes to protect your knees. With your little one on your back, lean forward and use their weight to sink down lower into the pose. Bounce up and down to make it more fun for them. While getting deeper into the stretch, keep you chest forward and your little one engaged.
