Meditation can be tricky! Especially when there is so much on our minds. But because of all the noise, we need a break every now and then! Meditation is the key to keeping calm and finding your center and foundation again when it may have been lost from the chaos of every day. Keeping your sanity is vital when you're a mom. Personal, quiet and alone time have never been more important. Make that alone time worth while by meditating frequently! It will make all the difference.
Here are some tips on how to successfully meditate:
1 - do a couple vinyasas and balancing poses before you start
2 - start by focusing on your breath
4 - visualize any tension leaving your body
5 - calm your mind, if a thought comes in, let it come, then let it pass as easily as it came
6 - set a timer so you don't have to keep checking the clock
7 - remember... it's ok to relax... and yes, you deserve it
