stress-free baby food schedule.

I have had a lot of requests to share what and when I feed my little baby. He is now 7 months old and he started eating solid foods about a month ago. 

I have created a video that highlights our whole day. It focuses on when and what I feed him, and how I prepare his food. I have also put together a schedule below and a breakdown of when to introduce each food to your baby. Introducing one food at a time is so important. This way you can watch for any food allergies he/she may have.

I have also included some favorite items I use during feeding time that help simplify the process and make things more enjoyable and easier.

WHAT AND WHEN TO INTRODUCE
​NEW FOODS TO BABY:


Day 1 - Rice Cereal
Day 4 - Oat Cereal
Day 7 - Carrots
Day 10 - Squash
Day 13 - Broccoli
Day 16 - Peas
Day 19 - Green Beans
Day 22 - Corn
Day 25 - Sweet Potatoes
Day 28 - Bananas
Day 31 - Apples
Day 34 - Peaches
Day 37 - Mango 
Day 40 - Plum
Day 43 - Chicken
Day 46 - Turkey
Day 49 - Beef 
Day 52 - Ham

Introduce at a later time:
Beans and lentils - 8-10 months
Strawberries and other berries - 8-12 months*
Peanuts - 8-12 months*
**Consult your pediatrician for any questions. The recommendations for introducing allergenic foods are currently changing. 
SIMPLE FEEDING ROUTINE FOR BABY:

7am - wake up and breastfeed/bottle
8am - breakfast (fruit and oatmeal)
9am - nap
12pm - wake up and breastfeed/bottle
1pm - lunch (vegetables)
2pm - nap
4pm - dinner (meat and vegetables)
6pm - join the family for dinner
7pm - breastfeed/bottle with bedtime routine
8pm - bedtime
