After having a baby, it can be hard to get back into the swing of things. The state of my body before pregnancy definitely helps my postpartum recovery, but after every baby I feel like I am beginning again and starting new.
During a beginner's yoga routine, or even my first routine of the day, I love to walk out my legs. So whether I am in downward dog or forward fold, I am constantly alternating legs and bending my knees to get things loosened and warmed up. The can also help prevent any injuries. It is much better to move slowly into deep stretches than to jump right into them. Twists are a favorite of mine. I encourage anybody, whether you are a beginner or an advanced yogi, to always incorporate twists somewhere in their yoga practice. Twists are a great way to stretch the back, side bodies, and hips. They are a great stress reliever as well. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS, PLEASE Contact Me. Comments are closed.
