Athletic Tote: This quick dry 'athleisure' tote will be coming with us to the beach and with me when I go to the gym. It can hold anything from bathing suits to my yoga blocks inside!
Yoga Mat Cleanser: I am ALWAYS in need of a yoga mat cleaner. Especially when I have my littles rolling around on it all day long. This one is an all-natural disinfectant with no harmful chemicals, which means it is great for little kids!!
Energy Bar: I love trying new energy bars, and this was one that my little girl loved too! It is a gluten free, vegan friendly, and organic bar. It was super yummy!
Facial Mask: This is a dry powder mask for me and only me. Yay! It is so nice to get some 'mommy pampering' in sometimes, because it doesn't happen very often. This mask helps detox your skin and improve elasticity.
Glo Illuminator: I was so excited when I saw this in my box! This Glo Illuminator is an incandescent liquid that lights up your skin. You can put in on with your foundation or on a day when you choose to not wear your make up.

If you have been following me on closely on social media, you have probably noticed that I read a lot. There is always a new book I am studying to help my knowledge in a subject I am passionate about.
I have been focusing my recent studies on meditation and it's benefits, and in this process I have learned how important it is to meditate as a mother. Meditation alone, no matter your where you are in life, can benefit you greatly. It can bring the calm when nothing but chaos is found and it can bring peace when peace just doesn't seem possible. Meditation comes in many different styles. It can be laying in bed reflecting on the day or it can be driving in the car while you focus on the road. It can even be while you rock your baby to sleep, focusing on their breathing.
When it comes to being a parent, life is non-stop, and finding that time for ourselves can be hard. Meditation also gives that gift. It helps us focus on ourselves when we have been giving all of ourselves all day long to others. It helps us to slow down and ponder over our blessings. It helps us to live more in the moment and enjoy these times with those we love.
Meditation is so important, but as a mother, it is vital. Even before becoming a mother, it can change your life. It can be a way to connect with your baby while it is growing inside your body. It can even help calm your body to prepare you for labor, or even if you are trying to get pregnant it can help! The list of benefits during motherhood is endless.
The book I have been reading lately is called 'Mindfulness for Mothers' by Rebecca Ryan. She talks about the benefits of meditation for mothers and she also gives many different ways to meditate with or without your baby and even includes meditations during pregnancy. She is a genius! I have been carrying this book around with me for some time now and I am excited to be able to share it with you.
This simple standing routine is so low maintenance that it can be done anywhere and at anytime. I love these poses because they help stretch my back, hips and shoulders without having to get down on a mat. They help if I have been on my feet a lot or just need an extra boost during the day. I have listed each one below and then have added the video at the end for viewing.

I am just a mom trying her best. I am a mom trying my best in every way to soak up every moment I have with my littles before they get big.
Now my little girl is a toddler and she is moving along with me on her own mat. It is incredible how fast time goes and how quickly it can change things. These little kiddos are my world. I love how little they are and I love seeing them grow and learn. I am excited for each new stage and each new adventure. I am sad to say good bye to the old but excited to take on the new.
So bring on more sleepless nights and endless days of toddler tantrums... I want them all. I accept them all. Even the really really hard days. One day I will miss it. One day it'll be gone and I will miss it all.
